Diluting Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide for COPD Treatment

Posted By Denis393 (Las Vegas, Nevada) on 09/22/2015

I'm 71 years, smoked for 50 years (I stopped right away) and now as of 3 years ago was told I have COPD. I use oxygen at night and I use a nebulizer with a combo of 2 meds for copd, they work well. I had 2 of what is called flair ups, then to the hospital for a lung treatment (breathing treatment), and of course they decided to kept me for 3 and then the second time 4 days. By the way, when the ambulance came to get me they put me on a breathing treatment, so when we got to the hospital I felt find breathing great. But they kept me (running up a bill). This is just background stuff.

I had a pint of food grade h2o2 from a few years ago in my refrigerate, so I diluted 11oz of distilled water to 1oz of h2o2 and started to use my nebulizer (2 eye droppers). As I start a treatment in the back of my throat it kind of burns a little after a bit when I breath in, when I finished I wash my mouth out and then things are ok.

Now here is the 64 dollar question, is the mixture amount ok, and how many times a day should I do this (now, just 1 time per day around 1 ish, just started), (morn I us my copd meds), and how do I know if things are working for me. I'm not looking for medical advice :) but would like some good feed back. I will not use 3% store stuff for internal use. Thanks to you all.

HI U JOSIE, , , , , , , , , , , don't make this difficult, just use distilled water. I used 3% when doing the Bill Munro protocol, but had to cut the H2O2 to 1 1/2 % when I went to a nebulizer due to irritation.

Wish you well.

Dear Josie,

The water you are talking about sounds fine to me.

We have used hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer and find it effective. Perhaps less convenient. We mix 5 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide from the brown bottle with 35 drops of distilled (or very pure water) together and use that in the nebulizer. That seems to be plenty strong and yet still effective.

Josie, I think that would be good to use because I use that for making colloidal silver.

Hi Denis393...I recently used both Hydrogen Peroxide(HP) and 5% Lugol's Iodine(LI) with water in a nebulizer at different times for what I thought was an oncoming cold or flu virus and it was very effective. This is not the same as your condition but I'm just going to explain how I used these in a nebulizer as a help to you.

I first used a store-bought 1.5% HP solution in my nebulizer and inhaled it for about 10 minutes. Yes, there was some burning in the throat but that goes away fairly quickly after you stop. What I noticed with using HP was that it dislodged and loosened a considerable amount of phlegm which was very useful, since it made my breathing easier. Of course, I did cough a little bit but this actually helped to get the loosened excess phlegm out which was beneficial. I eventually put the HP strength up to 3% and tried it out for 5 mins without problems.

I then tried using 2 drops of 5% LI in water with the nebulizer and this had a very interesting effect. I nebulized for 5 mins. It seemed to greatly reduce or remove excessive phlegm in my lungs. This was probably due to LI's anti-inflammatory(or histamine reducing) effect. LI is well known to generally reduce mucus and phlegm and I was also pleased with this outcome. I inhaled the LI + water for about 5 mins and got the same burning in my throat which I ignored.

I then used and combined both the HP and LI inhaling methods every day on a day on day off basis. Both LI and HP kill a very wide range of pathogen species including many bacteria, viruses, mycoplasma, parasites, and fungus. Needless to say, the cold or flu virus never had a chance to properly take hold and I got rid of it quickly in only a few days.

Interestingly, both the nebulized HP and LI both helped to disinfect and clear my sinuses and nasal passages as well.

hi I have just recently started using h2o2 for copd everything I have read says to use distilled water but I have found in Woolworth's supermarket, Nobles Pureau water, it has no chlorine, chloride or any trace elements what so ever so I wonder if this is ok to use? can anyone help me out with this. Also I'd like to try using h2o2 in a nebuliser, has anyone tried it and if so has it helped. Thanks, would like to hear from anyone with other suggestions as well.

Hello,

My mom is 78 years old, she has copd for 7 years now, its getting worse, she stays at my sister's house, my sister smokes still, I want to give her h202, what is the fastest way to get some relief, she is in and out of the hospital for a year now, she is on meds, can I still give it to her, put some in her cool mist, make a 3% solutions and make a spray bottle, I just want to know you can mix with the other meds, my sister works at a hospital and we have different ideas, I am more natural so when I go see my mom, I want to know all of this,

Thanks

Patrick, two things that you can start with: put a spritz of regular h2o2 into a humidifier and have it run near her bed at night.

The second thing: there exists a machine, dunno the name, that clears the air in a room from smoke etc. I've seen a person who was extremely sensitive to smoke, have it going in her room, and she didn't even know that someone was smoking in the next room!

HI U PATRICK, , , , , , Mmsg is right on the money. Start slow and go slow. It took her 78 years to get into this condition so don't try an overnight recovery. You on the right track.

Wish you well. =======ORH======

I have an Ionic Breeze machine. I think that is what you are talking about. Takes toxins and impurities out of the air.
