I am sorry to hear about your recent heart attack. Many survivors have done well by eliminating inflammation, the true cause of heart attacks. Sugar, grains, high carb foods like bananas, tend to increase inflammation. The Medeterranean Diet is suggested by author and cardiologist, Dr. Barbara Roberts. Little meat, fish, vegetables, nuts, legumes and fruit, especially berries. At least 1000mg of Vitamin C per day. Serrapeptase may be a supplement that can reduce plaque in your artery walls. Nattokinase, cayenne pepper, fish oil or aged garlic (Kyolic EXtra Strength Reserve Cardiovascular)will keep your blood from being "sticky." (Don't combine these or your blood may become too thin). Have your blood checked for high iron, which can be a problem easily solved by donating blood. Meditate and take a mild yoga class. Laugh. Inflammation fighters include turmeric, low dose naltrexone (www.ldninfo.org), take Vitamin K2 to keep calcium out of your arteries and in your teeth and bones, along with Vitamin D3 (1000-2500mg/day), maybe consider CoQ10 in the form of Ubiquinol, with d-ribose powder, mixed carnitines like Jarrow Carn-It-All, and magnesium per Dr. Sinatra's regime. The name of a Facebook Group to join who are extremely knowledgeable, many of whom have had heart attacks or strokes and several well known doctors participate, and can guide you is called "Side Effects of Lipitor, Lovastatin and other Statin Drugs." Best wishes.
