Diagnosed with and help needed for perioral dermatitis

My derm dignosed me with Seb Derm but upon research I realized my SD didn't look like most cases. It was around my mouth, chin, on the sides of my nose. I think I have perioral dermatitis b/c it is a circular inflammation around my mouth w/ it on my forehead, eyelids, under my eyes. It has gotten better under my eyes, eyelids, and forehead. The derm prescibed my topical steroids I used one for 2 months & another for 2 weeks. I was on the ZNP Bar for 2 months. After careful research I realized that topical steroids have made my condition worse. I stopped cold turkey.

5 weeks ago I began using virgin coconut oil. My face looked better, but I felt like I needed something more radical. 3 weeks ago I began taking probiotics (acidiphilous), omega 3s, drinking apple cider vinegar (3x a day 8oz diluted), applying diluted 2x a day. This week I noticed that my face looks better, but no significant change the area just is extremely dry. So this week I decided to stop diluting the ACV it burns like HELL, but I felt like it would work better. Then I began applying virgin coconut oil. One side of my nose looks better, but I was crying the other night & right under my nostrils pimples appeared on my lip as well. So frustrating. Last night I took a benadryl & the pimples under my nostrils disappeared. I just bought some manuka honey & some SLS free toothpaste.

I'm really at my wits end it has been 6 months & I feel like I have tried so many experiments & my face is not getting any better. My face is sooooo stubborn I feel like everytime I try something it never works. I keep telling myself to be patient, but has anyone waited over 3 weeks to see a real difference? The redness looks so much better but my face is extremely sore now & the papules are still very visible. I need some advice anyone. Someone please. I think if the honey doesn't work I will have to go on antibotics (I don't want to do that). I want to approach this an all natural way, but I have to go back to school & makeup burns too bad. I am in a sorority & not sure how I'm going to do things with my face looking like this. I was also planning on working downtown promotion work & now I can't. I was obese since childhood & then lost weight & I feel like I still can't enjoy life b/c now I have this thing. Everyone stares. I haven't left the house for the whole summer. I feel severely depressed.

Any advice, please help!!!

Try applying a good Calendula Creme every time you think of it. Worked for me in a matter of days. That was 18 months ago no sign of it since. Hope this is as successful for you.
