Desperately need help w hepatitis c

Posted By The Hopeless (Indianapolis, In) on 05/08/2011

I've read the article on Hepatitis -C, I'm desperately looking for help, seem that the stage is now when the body does not process the nutrients, the abdomen is full of water (cirrhosis) laying on the bed all the time... Too weak to stand up.... Is this treatment appropriate at this stage??? are there any side effects on it that can make the condition worse???

I posted about BHT earlier in this thread as a treatment for hepatitis-C. I think BHT is as safe a treatment there is in the small dosages I have discussed: 200mg of BHT per day on an empty stomach with water worked for me and fast. I was symptum free and tested negative with the hep-C RNA test in about 3 to 4 weeks. Now my liver still had infected cells, but no virus was showing up in my blood tests. From what you have stated you are sicker than I was though I was quite ill.

BHT has been evaluated extensively by the World Health Organization as to toxicity. A report published by them discusses all this and is a compilation of over 50 studies that were done over a long period of time. I am new to this forum and am not sure if I can link to that study or not. I will try to. If I remember correctly they state that BHT is non-toxic to the liver at 25mg per kilogram of body weight per day. A 110 pound person wieghs 50 kilograms and 50x25=1, 250mg. Though some others consider that a safe dosage for HEALTHY people, I do not, and you are not a healthy person.

I weighed and still weigh about 180 pounds. I successfully treated my hepatitis-C infection using only 200mg per day of BHT with water on an empty stomach. I do not know of a safer more effective treatment than BHT taken in the small doses I have discussed. It is usually sold in 350mg capsules but you can open the capsules up and split that in half. Just pour about half of the capsule out and put the capsule back together. I also recommend you simply lick your finger and dab it on the BHT crystals and lick your finger to see if you have any ill effect as an added safety precaution. Most people have no ill effects using BHT in the small dosages I have discussed. I never had any ill effects. Some people have reported dizziness using BHT. But they are often taking higher doses also.

I don`t know what to say. It sounds like you are very sick. I was not as sick as you are, though I was quite ill and had a failing liver: jaundice, dark urine, nausea and such. If you decide to try BHT, do that little taste test I suggested and work your way up carefully to make sure you have no ill effects. And, like I said, I weigh about 180 pounds and 200mg per day of BHT worked for me just like I said: in about 3 to 4 weeks. You still need to keep taking it even when you feel well because it takes years of daily dosing to actually free your liver of all infected cells. BHT destroys the viruses in the blood and intercellualar fluids, not inside a living cell. But the liver is constantly creating new cells and a true cure can eventually be acheived with daily dosing. I now test negative using even the antibodies and antigens tests for both hepatitis-B and hepatitis-C. This is what the VA, Veterans Administration told me in 2006. They do not prescribe BHT. I self treated this infection. BHT is NOT a prescribable treatment for hepatitis-C or anything else at this time as far as I know. I pray for your full recovery with whatever you decide to try....Oscar

Hello. I have had hep c for about 40 years. Genome 1a. I read about BHT in August and ordered some, and began taking the 250 mg. Caps in the middle of the night when I get up to use the restroom. (Which I do without fail every night. ) I had just had a viral load test done and it was around 600000. After a month of religiously taking the BHT, I had another viral load done and it was down to 290000.

I have been taking it ever since, and have another appt. this Thursday with an Infectious Disease specialist. He wants to discuss a "New" treatment, probably that protease that's being used along with ribarivin and interferon. I do not want to go that route, because of the side effects. I think I am feeling a lot better and would not be surprised if my viral load is now undetectable. It was reduced by 50% in one month; and it has been three since my last lab. If it hasn't gone down significantly, I will amp it up to 250 mgs. twice a day. I just can't decide if I'm going to tell my doctor about my BHT protocol. Maybe I will just wait until it disappears and then tell him how and why. But so far, I feel the BHT has been very effective.

Dear Yanktongal, This is the sort of feedback I have been praying for [ and I have been a non-believer giving my non-belief some second thoughts ]. Thank you so very much for posting your results. This BHT really does work as a VERY EFFECTIVE treatment for hepatitis C. This forum needs to hear from people who are trying this treatment. Now, there is another forum member who like you has HCV type 1a. As you probably already know: The type 1 variants of hepatitis C have proven to be the hardest to treat. It is worth noting that about 80% of the people in the USA infected with hepatitis C have one of the HCV type 1 variants.

Anyway, this other forum member who has HCV type 1a has posted similar results using the same dosage you have been using: She reported a two thirds reduction in her viral load count after about 8 weeks of using the BHT at the same or close to the dosage you have been using. Her liver function test results returned to NORMAL or healthy readings also in that 8 weeks of treatment with the BHT.

Also, I have been posting some other people`s test results in this forum as have others. From the feedback available: It seems that dosages of between 200mg and 350mg of BHT taken TWICE a day is best for most average size adults. But if that double dosing so to speak causes significant side effects, that is no reason to get discouraged. Those smaller dosages DO work, it just takes a little longer is all. So if you can tolerate this twice a day dosing without significant side effects, that is what seems to work best from the feedback available at this time. If not, just stick with the once a day dosing, you ARE getting well. You WILL get those no virus detected results. This BHT really does work as a treatment for hepatitis C in all of its variants.

Please keep in mind that the conventional treatments for HCV type 1a are on average 48 weeks of the interferon ribavron and only work for about 50% of the people so treated when some third, new compound is added to that mix. And, very importantly: Many if not most of those people relapse within 5 years. Those conventional treatments are quite toxic and cannot be taken indefinately under the best circumstances [ those people who can tolerate them without very serious side effects for 48 weeks].

Now, I need to be very clear about this: Simply achieving a NO VIRUS DETECTED RESULT does NOT mean you are cured of hepatitis C. All it means is that there was no HCV virus detected in your blood at the time the test was done. Your liver will still be full of infected cells. BHT can NOT uninfect a living liver cell. NOTHING can do that. BUT, every cell in a person`s liver is a new cell in about every year or so. With the BHT you simply keep taking it as long as neccessary [ at least 2 years in my experience and opinion ]. Probably longer than 2 years. BUT, and this is the beauty of this BHT stuff: There is very substantial proof that BHT is in fact good for you. That PHYSIOLOGICAL REVIEWS article I have refferred to in the past shows an average lifespan increase in mice dosed with BHT of 21% to 32% in mice dosed with BHT over their entire lifetimes compared to undosed mice.

So, like I said: just keep taking the BHT and eventually you will be truly CURED of hepatitis C. Please keep the forum updated with any and all test results. That is extremely important. And when you do achieve those NO VIRUS DETECTED results, please do tell your doctor how you did it. I have been trying for over 14 years now to get the medical establishment to wake up to the fact that BHT cures hepatitis C. This BHT stuff really does work. Not sort of, or maybe it helps somewhat. BHT CURES HEPATITIS C!!! ...Oscar

I have begun BHT 350mg for Hep. C genoype 1b today. Viral load 10000000. Symptoms: pain in liver area, chronic fatigue, oedema legs, psycho-emotional fragility, depression. Do not wish to undertake Tri-therapy.

Will keep you posted.
