Blocked ears and long term sinus issues

desperate here for some insight...... i have dealt with bouts of sinusitis and blocked ears since 1986, the year my career began in the airline industry. having these bouts of sinus issues presents a real job hazard as, unlike office and/or ground jobs, i cannot fly with blocked ears. i refuse to go to another md or ent who will dismiss it with a sinusitus diagnosis and a few drug prescriptions that only temporarily work!

my caveat and most recent concern is that i drank the very strong detoxifying drink kombucha for 5 days in a row. kombucha's claims are many, one being that it will detoxify the body. i have practically been bed-ridden with a low grade fever, body aches, sweating, weakness, sinusitis and completely blocked ears for six days now!!

of course i am trying everything natural including the nettie pot, mega doses of vitamin c, natural anti-inflammatory omega-3's, vaporizer with tea tree/eucalyptis.

i am desperate and really need some input on what to do now! what is the best way to determine if i've had the presence of infection for all these years in my sinus passages? i am at my wits end!!

My son had a similar problem, and I got him a sinus spray from a health food store that contained the oil of oregano in the formula, I myself use that oil of oregano about 3 drops in my netti pot for prevention of colds, and sinus infection. It cleared my son's problem up quick. I also in between alternate with sea salt for cleansing. Blessings, and sure hope this helps. p.s. I keep pure essential oil of oregano as a staple, it has been shown they say to kill MRSA in test tubes, and we had a family member who used it for that reason with great success, on MRSA boils, which when taken orally and sprayed on made the boil break-outs stop!

A successful cure for sinus that I used- a steam inhalation of essential oils Thyme, Cinnamon and Clove oil.I used a facial sauna and put three drops each of the three essential oils into the water compartment with the steaming water. Inhalation is painful at first- I inhaled alternate nostrils then both together for about five minutes maximum. You could use a bowl of boiling water and a towel over your head if you do not have a facial sauna. I did this for one week during day- every two hours for first two days- then reduced frequency to every four hours until the symptoms were very much improved. After about one day very much better after 10 days I was free of sinus blockage and could breath at night freely. The oils kill bacteria and the virus that is in the sinus cavity. To maintain the cure I routinely contiued this treatment just once a week. Hope this helps. I also brew my own Kombucha and drink this regularly.
