Seeking Natural Remedies for Dermatophyte Infection & Autoimmune Disease

Posted By Dee (Kansas City, Ks) on 04/22/2018

Looking for help on how best to cure dermatophyte infections. About a year ago I started to get LDA treatments for my allergies. I also seem to have autoimmune thyroid disease High TrAb antibodies and cellular hypothyroidism. Worried I also have R.A. My gene panel from 23&Me supports this but as yet no proof. After a year of doing a more ketogenic diet, I lost 45 lbs and reversed prediabetes and HBP . No more antibodies. Still having trouble with fungal infections. After another 10 days of itraconazole, I had what appears to be similar to ringworm come back with a vengeance in the moist area under my belly and around but not in my groin. Realizing this also matches the rash that popped up in my armpits after trying to quit deodorant I did some research. I also have what people would call rosacea but none of the meds or natural remedies for rosacea have worked and I now think it's dermatophytes. I have had some mold exposure and I also have toe fungus. About to try charcoal and ACV. How do I get mold and fungus out of cloth? Any assistance is appreciated.

I am unfortunately going through the same symptoms, minus the toe fungus. My doctor prescribed Ny Stop for the underarm rash. I had clogged lymph nodes prior to it. I should have jumped on my rebounder, but I did a castor oil pack instead. I didn’t have the patience to do it again, because a family member was ill and needed attention. Not sure how I got this. It could be the laundromat (my washer broke). The laundromat did smell like mold and it was terribly hot. It could have been from the nursing home. The stomach rash is annoying. I put aloe Vera on a maxi pad and wore that a few days. It keeps coming back. The groin area is extremely painful. No sign of a rash, just itchy. The dermatologist prescribed ciclopirox olamine. I wasn’t using it there as I wasn’t examined there. I take baths with huge scoops of coconut oil. Sometimes I apply Sarna itch cream for sensitive skin. I just wish it would all go away. I am going to try herbal teas tomorrow. Pau d’arco, red clover and green tea. Arugula is highly antifungal. I might make a “tea” out of it and use it topically.

Let me know if you have recovered and what helped. Thanks.
