Daughters symptoms possibly indicating candida

I have just noticed Keratosis Pilaris on my daughters arms and legs as well as a return of her cradle cap. I try and keep her diet low sugar, low gluten and all orgainic with lots of healthy foods. (she is 18months) she had cradle cap as an infant that went away with some oil and a comb, but its back and worse than ever now. I try my best to be aware of fatty acids and give them to her whenever possible. She does drink almond or flax milk (could it be the soy lecithin in both of them?). She did have a bad diaper rash that lasted a month (we tried the dr recomendations and everything) so it makes me wonder if she has a build up of yeast in her body and if so how to I treat it with nutrition?

We also just moved to an old farm house that is really dusty, could it just be mites or are the mites just loving her yeast?

Mrs. Larsen, do make some efforts at air purification in the old house, or health prob's could rapidly deteriorate. Entire families lives have been devastated by dangerous living conditions such as mold, mites, formaldehyde, etc. Do a total house cleaning including carpets. I have read to use a scent-free chlorine bleach (search for direction and be careful to dilute properly) following the traditional shampoo. An Ozone generator shock cleaning is another good option. As for permanent air purification, I recommend negative ion generators, in addition to conventional filtration, that produce at least several trillion negative ions per sec. For maximum affect, I am currently using 4 - 20 trillion units good for 400 sq ft each.

As for fatty acids against possible Candida, maybe a few drops of caprylic acid in the milk would help.

MRS. LARSEN, My daughter also suffers from KP, she got it from me and I got it from my mother. We keep it in check with ACV in the bath and lots of Krill Oil or you can use other Fish Oil. Flax Oil does not help at all. We avoid ALL Grains and Sugars as well. My daughter eats a lot of Chicken; when she gets just chicken (we raise our own) and no grass fed beef her KP gets worse. Red meat seem to help. We also use loofahs and Coconut Oil as a lotion.

For Cradle Cap I would use ACV and Borax to wash her hair. You can look up Homemade Natural Shampoos. The ACV will help with any fungal issues.

You mentioned you moved into an old farmhouse. You can get Lead testing kits to test your paint and water. To avoid Metal Toxicity put a pinch of Borax in each 16oz of water. And use Diatomaceous Earth instead of insecticides.

And yes, avoid ALL Soy, especially Soy Lecithin! Most Soy is GMO and processed Soy mimicks hormones, very dangerous for children. Organic Tofu, Edamame, fermented soy are ok.
