Dear Ted! First of all I thank you for all profound information you provide us here. I always read your advice and info and the comments. I have several problems that I thought you are the best to contact with. My frist problem I'd like to mention here is my daughter's ocd. She is having this problem since she was 16 and now she is 25 and her ocd getting worse. She constantly washes her hands and whenever she goes out she notices colourd sposts on the walls and grounds considering them contaminated and dirty (she thinks it would be faeces etc) she thinks she has touched it and as a result she thinks her cloths contaminated and doesnt use them again before washing. This obssesive thoughts never leave her alone and makes her and me stressed alot. She also having problem with her sleeping pattern, she sleeps during the day mostly and is awake during the nights. She has vitamin D and Iron deficiency and curreently taking vitamins and Iron. She also has aggression and bad temper. Please help me with this and tell me what kind of remedies exactly she should take. We have seen some doctors and a psychologist but didn't help.

Would you plz give me your email address and contact number so I can call you? I appreciate your help beforehand.

Please try Bach Flower Remedies. At the very least, I would recommend Crab Apple, White Chestnut and Rescue Remedy for her. And Red Chestnut for yourself. Look up www.bachcentre.com, the remedies section.

My son had his first OCD episode after a bout of Strep throat which the doctor missed and failed to inform us about. They are finding a connection between OCD and Strep, for which one should have a blood test, not just a throat culture. The other thought I had when I read your comments is in regards to iron deficiency. My son, too, had a deficiency and his OCD escalated after taking iron supplements. I am not saying that I am positive about this, but I am just wondering if there is a connection.
