Dad w pumonary fibrosis needs help

Posted By Marie Louise (Charlotte, Nc) on 01/16/2012

Dear Ted, My dad has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis 2 years ago. He has been taking Prednisone along with natural supplements. Things were stable for 5 months and recently he contracted a bacterial Pneumonia.... The doctors of course are very pessimistic and told us they cannot do anything else... He is on oxygen mask 24 hour and can only maintain 84% of his oxygen when he is talking... When he is quiet it goes even to 100%... He coughs a lot and he is very exhausted when he does.

I read about: Aloe vera juice, D-mannose, sodium Perborate, chromium, Buo Bok, Silica, Vit B3.. How can all these help my dad and how do we proceed? We are very desperate yet determine to help a 68 years old daddy....

Hi Marie Louise, Please look up liposomal vit c & you will be astounded what it can do. That in combination with liposomal glutathione. Dr Thomas Levy explains the benefits of liposomal vit c & other liposomal remedies. Hope you will take the trouble to look it up. Good luck.

Marie Louise, if you are new to natural supplement and remedies and seem a little fearful in trying them; start by taking a potent whole food multivitamin/mineral as directed on label or two caps/tabs w/ every meal. This alone will begin detoxing & healing that his body has been missing for yrs ---then start using the items you listed in small amounts and slowly increase as you monitor results. Post your progress.

Also the herb Gotu Kola is supposed to be effective in reducing scarring or fibrosis. Magnet therapy may be beneficial as it helps many conditions particularly in conjunction w/ other treatments. I wear a magnetic belt over my lungs (chest area) daily to prevent disorders.

Hope this helps and good luck.

What healthy resources, focus groups for IPF or fellow IPFs are in Louisville for ?... I have a young friend 40s recently diagnosised. I would like to help them find healthy nutrition, supplements to use rather than a lot of drug therapy with come with so many side effects. Thanks
