I would like some information regarding cytomegalovirus. I can't find much on this site regarding it. I had it picked up by a naturopaths scan years ago. I contracted it in 2014. I remember exactly when as I went through horrible symptoms afterwards. I think it had effected my liver.
I have had many health issues since 2014. I struggle with Candida currently, as well as heavy metals, allergies, and numerous other issues. I had also contracted mononucleosis in 2009.
I can't find any information regarding Cytomegalovirus. I would like to know how to get rid of it if possible. I've never been the same since I contracted it.
I am wondering, since it is similar to Epstein-Barr virus, can I follow Ted's recommendations there? Thanks!

Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) is an antioxidant that is widely used in foods because it prevents spoilage by delaying degradation of lipid components. This hydrophobic compound inactivated human and murine cytomegalovirus (CMV) and Semliki Forest virus (SFV). Both human and murine CMV were inactivated more than 90% by 40 microgram of BHT/ml after incubation for 1 hr at 37 C. Under the same conditions, SVF was inactivated about 75%, whereas poliovirus, which does not contain lipid membrane as a part of its structure, was not inactivated at all. Vaccinia virus was less sensitive to BHT than was CMV or SFV.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
BHT is noted for being effective against viruses that are lipid enveloped, like CMV. There was a poster (Oscar) who used to post here who claimed BHT rid himself of hepatitis B, another lipid enveloped virus. It didn't work overnight for him, but he claimed it did work and Steven Fowkes also has written a book on using BHT for lipid enveloped viruses such as herpes of which CMV would likely be included as it is considered to be a herpes virus. I would start taking Oregano Oil Capsules everyday for atleast 3 months. Garlic oil capsules could also help. Take both with food.Oregano will kill any kind of "germ". Proof of this statement can be found in the Quarterly Review of Biology, March 1998 and the Indian Journal of Experimental Biology, June 1977, among other authoritative publications.

Hello Rob, thank you for your reply. I'm looking for info on this. I assume this would also help with Candida?Will this kill the virus permanently in that it will never come back?

Thank you for the information, Art. I really appreciate it! Is there somewhere to just get BHT powder. How much do you think someone needs to take or how long? I am pretty short on funds right now due to losing my job becuase of "covid".Also are Ted's Epstein Barr protocols a similar treatment?
I'm currently alkalizing my body, detoxing from metals, and clearing out a bad long-term Candida infection.. maybe I'll start this protocol down the road.
