Could a Tetanus Shot Cause These Side Effects?

Posted By Clumsymom (Richmond, Va) on 07/29/2016

After an injury, I was given a tetanus shot (yesterday). Ever since, I've had nausea, diarrhea and just been plain loopy. It was a pretty nasty injury, lots of dirt needed to be cleaned out before the stitches. Got a shot of some antibiotic but I was out of it and don't know what it was. They called something in but I haven't been clear headed enough to go get it. what can I do? I already do epsom soaks, take 3 drops lugals/d, take a selenium and multi vitamin. I feel awful. No fever and the injury site looks really good, so I think the tetanus shot is what's bothering me. Thanx

YES!! The ingredients in a tetanus shot - YIKES!!
Sodium phosphate, peptone, bovine extract (U.S. sourced), formaldehyde, ammonium sulfate, aluminum potassium sulfate, thimerosal (trace), gelatin, polysorbate 80 (Tween 80), modified Mueller and Miller medium, and modified Stainer-Scholte medium. Thimerosal has been linked to permanent brain damage even in small doses.
