Been googling my symptoms and needless to say scared to death now cuz all signs possibly point to colon cancer.
Have been having excessive gas for some time, noticed a few years ago that instead of having one bowl movement in the morning suddenly having the feeling that my bowels weren't completely evacuated after the first one and having to use the bathroom a second time most days.
So now suddenly at the same time the hemorrhoids got really painful and the anus area is swollen, I started to have multiple bowel movements a day and also noticed for the first time that my stool is much slimmer than it was a long time ago. I've never really looked at it until I read all this colon cancer symptoms and this being one of them scares the hell out of me.
I don't really have diarrhea which makes me worried that I don't have IBS which I would prefer over colon cancer, could all these symptoms because by hemorrhoids?

Do yourself a favor and see a doctor who will order a stool analysis. The tests done on the sample you submit will help diagnose your condition.
Once the results are obtained (and depending what they are), your doctor may order a colonoscopy to see if there are any abnormalities in your large intestine/rectum.
Then at least you will know what the problem really is and can take steps to rectify it.
