Now that person has done this for around 10 days now and has noticed bags (swelling) under the eyes and middle part of the back is hurting really bad and thinks they have a bladder infection (it doesn't hurt to urinate or any signs of blood in the urine, but they feel alot of pressure in the bladder and middle of the back area). Could this have been brought on from the baking soda (1/2 tsp. Baking soda and 1/2 tsp. Sugar in an 8 oz. Water)? Now I'm aware of the damage on the liver and kidneys the alcohol has caused and what that person has put those major organs through, but my qusestion remains the same, Could this have been brought on from the baking soda (1/2 tsp. Baking soda and 1/2 tsp. Sugar in 8 ounces of water)?

2 suggestions: stop ALL alcoholic beverages!!! Your friend is not helping his health one bit by replacing one alcoholic beverage (the beer) with another alcoholic beverage (the wine... And 3 bottles each night??!! Good Lord! )
And, stop all sugar! If you read on this EC site, sugar is basically poison. Bottom line is he needs to completely change his eating AND drinking habits by switching to FRESH veggies and fruits (organic if possible) and free-range meats/fish, etc.
There is plenty of information on this site about getting healthy by cutting out all the NON-healthy food and drink.
