Costochondritis Pain Feels Like A Constant Heart Attack

Posted By Yola4 (Leh, New Jersey ) on 01/20/2021

Hey everyone. I’ve been struggling with horrible costochondritis pressure/pain since June of last year. It will fluctuate in intensity but hasn’t gone away since it started. I’ve tried vit D supplementation, L-lysine, olive leaf extract, and the backpod ... some of which helped temporarily.

I believe mine is a case of infectious costochondritis caused by one of the following: Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, and Salmonella, or Escherichia coli.

How do I naturally combat these?

Hi Yola!

Listen, four years ago I had a real bad case of costochondritis which I thought was a heart attack. Went to the emergency where they told me what I had. I tried pain killers but they didn't help. I felt so hopeless and was crying with pain in my chest (felt like a knife was stuck there) and throbbing all the way to my left hand. This went on for a few months till out of exasperation I cried "What's missing here???!!! "

Then I realised I wasn't taking Vit. D and was probably low since I never went in the sun very much and even in the summer. So reached for the tiny 1000 IU oil base D pill (just one pill) and rubbed it on the chest. After only 3 days the pain was completely gone! Later, after passing tests the doc told me I was low in vit D... go figure hehe. So I took the amount suggested by the Linus Pauling institute which is 4000 UI a day (more they said could damage the kidneys) and never had an episode since.

We are all different I know, but Vit D is dirt cheap so why not try it? Hope this helps you, I never forgot how painful and debilitating this can be.. Best of luck Yola! Take care!

PS forgot about the Candida part... which I had for over 20 year. I had a permanent condition on my nose called seborrheic dermatitis which the dermatologist said would last a lifetime. Now I had every reason to believe her for I had the condition for over 20 year. I had tried so many things before and nothing seemed to work...

So I got on a simple Specific Carbohydrates diet, (the list of foods is easily found online) eating mostly vegetables and proteins. No sugar, no alcohol, no cereals and only the suggested legumes I also had one banana and one Granny Smith apple a day. Aside from this I bought Caprilic Acid pills and took five a day, plus Glutamine to rebuild the intestinal wall. I had a very slow intestin (this may not be a problem for you) so I did an enema every other day.

In a couple of months the candida receded completely and even my nose hasn't seen any seborrheic dermatitis in a year, which means no more ketoconazol! I can even eat sugar now every once in a while and have no side effects. If you would like more details about what I did specifically, send me an email so I can give you the names of some brands that I took. OK?

The very best to you!

My naturopath recommended to me the homeopathic remedy Kali carbonnicum, chiropractic work, and heart chakra treatment. Could also try Pao dArco tea for the candida?

I would go with colloidal silver nano particles.

Also you could go with Lugols Iodine and apple cider vinegar.

Caprylic Acid is good for candida.

Yola, so sorry you are experiencing such awful pain. I’ve had costochondritis and on for years. In my case it was from stress. The only thing that helped me was essential oils. I used Young Living Deep Relief roll on blend and Panaway blend. They both are topical and eased the constriction within a few minutes. Peppermint oil, oil of wintergreen and clove oil, also Helicrisum oil are part of the blends. I hope this helps.

Yes, Lugol's iodine as Adriana suggested is good, not for the pain but for the infection. Personally, I wouldn't take it orally. I would put a couple of drops of it into a cotton-tipped swab and apply it lavishly to an area of skin measuring about 2 inches by 2 inches, repeat after 1 hour, and repeat after another hour. Iodine is the body's own antibiotic. Applying it topically, it bypasses the liver and goes into circulation around the entire body. I have used topical iodine against a number of different types of infection and found it effective. If Lugol's isn't available, simple iodine tincture or even betadine iodine can be used topically. There is a hidden epidemic of iodine deficiency. Good luck with that!

I discovered that the underlying problem with my costochondritis is my under functioning adrenal gland which results in reduced cortisol and this exacerbates the inflammation. Go to the section on adrenal fatigue and buy the two books recommended by other readers. This has literally saved my life.

Good Luck.

You can try the costochrondritis exercises, tai chi and meditation for relaxation,

Noni juice, Omega 3, Probiotics, homeopathic Arnica and Oregano Oil short term. And a good anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory diet.

My go to antibiotic is 65% Calcium Hypochlorite in a size one capsule taken with 8 ounces at least of water. This I referred to as MMS2

MMS1 was discovered by Jim Humble which has a steeper learning curve but I would highly recommend you pursue it. You can find out more about Jim Humble's books here:

I believe if you follow up on this you'll be able to fix your problem.
