Seeking Help for Cortico Subcortical Atrophy in Toddler from Kernicterus

Posted By Dbma (Ivory Coast) on 10/13/2018

Hello Dr Ted, my son is 16 months old and has cortico subcortical atrophy due to kernicterus. As symptoms that he currently has:

-he does not hold his head correctly,

-he can not put his hands in his mouth or catch objects that are presented to him

-and he did not sit until then.

He has peripheral hypertonia and axial hypotonia. I would like to know if you can help us to treat him.

- when he breathes, we can often hear noise like he has colds.

Thanks really for your quick reply.
