Concern About Calcium in Apple Cider Vinegar Affecting Thyroid

I have thyroid disease, and cannot take calcium. I see there is calcium in apple cider vinegar. Should I stay away from this method to relieve my arthritis?

Dear Mary,

I have used Apple Cider Vinegar for several years, even with a diagnosis of hypothyroid. I do also use Iodine, which keeps me symptom free of the low thyroid. As far as I can tell, the ACV has not had a bad effect on the thyroid issue. But that is just one person's experience.

If you are concerned, you could try another remedy - like turmeric.
