Like many of the members at EarthClinic, you simply must be a little warrior if you are going to make any inroads on your illness. Neither simple nor easy is the nature of human disease, so you must practice patients, perseverance, and trial & error as you continue studies of your illness.
As for the science you spoke of, I gave some specifics of the actions of the anti cholinergic drugs as they have an antagonistic effect on mucus membranes, thus dehydrating the body. Do a search to see if Amitryptaline has ever been used for HH, and definitely consider a "trial" beginning with small doses. Meanwhile and for the present, I found an homeopathic formula designed specifically for HH called "Excessive Perspiration" by Dr. Barbara Hendel. Good luck and Don't Give Up.

Try to use urine as an effective remedy for HH. I've been using it for two days now and amazingly my sweat problems decreased. You need not to drink it as some would claim they got healed, just put some urine at the affected areas like hands, feet, underarm for some minutes and let it dry. Rinse with soap and water later.. it works try it.Replied by Shasha (New York) on 02/16/2012
I tried urine before but I think it only works for mild case hyperhidrosis, it just didn't work for me.
