@Marty - Sitz baths with Witch Hazel are very helpful.
Add one cup of Witch Hazel to the basin, then fill it with very warm (but not hot) water and sit/soak for 20 minutes a couple of times a day.

Castor Oil worked after many other remedies had only temporary relief.
