Clothing bothers tender irritated skin

Posted By Jeepgirl84 (Hermitage, Tn, Usa) on 09/13/2010

For a little over a month now the skin on my left leg above the knee to the quad has become very tender to touch. I have no health issues, no rash, no fever, etc. My leg feels as though something has rubbed against it and has irritated the skin but it is not red just looks normal. But in the last couple of days even the skin on my stomach has started to feel tender. I have used Eucalyptus oil and even resorted last night to trying Clobetasol... To no avail. Clothing bothers me and I sure can't go to work nude, lol. Shaving my leg does make it feel a little better. Please help!

Sounds like shingles- tender touch on leg and stomach. I had shingles and that is the way mine started. GO TO A DOCTOR.
