Tailbone Chiropractic Adjustment Has Caused Nightly Itching For 2 Years

Posted By Connie (Horicon, WI) on 01/28/2021

In 8/2018, at a chiropractic session in morning I had adjustment, first time, on my tailbone for correcting adrenals. He used a tapping/vibration tool. I started doctoring with him in 3/2018. Thought it was an odd part of body to work on and this chiro never touched the tailbone again.

Prior adjustments to other areas of body had no side effects or issues.

That evening of the day of the tailbone adjustment, I experienced terrible itching around my tailbone and continued through the night. Contacted doctor with his resolution to take high doses of a bovine glandular supplement. I am highly intolerant to all beef and refused.

I continued treatments until 2/2019 and left this chiropractor as none of his adjustments corrected my itching or corrected the main reason I hired him.

I would complain of the itching rotating around my body from feet, hands, back, elbows and also tailbone. I already had a very clean diet, and he stated food would have no affect on the itching. I had hoped my body would heal, adjust eventually...but still am itching every night starting around 8pm and if I take no antihistamine, will itch through to 4/5 am.

It is a miserable under the skin itch.

I rely on an OTC children’s antihistamine (dye free), but it still upsets my tummy and so I tried some natural supplements(quercetin and nettles) that helps for a few hours but not through the whole night. Tried Benedryl but it has corn ingredients I am intolerant to and so I quit.

Trying another OTC children’s antihistamine that is dye/alcohol free, but wish to be on no drugs at all. My tailbone now pops and moves around and gets aggravated at times to affect my right hip. I tried just one week of castor oil packs on tailbone recently but had no improvements. Prior to that tailbone adjustment never had itching or tailbone never bothered me...ever!

What did a few minutes of a tapping tool do to my tailbone? How do I stop this itching? I feel fine otherwise...except lacking a good night sleep. My spouse never was in favor of chiropractors but this doc was advertised as a kinesiologist. To go to another chiropractor he will not support.

I would recommend treating yourself for parasites. If one product doesn’t help, I recommend trying several different parasite cleansers, one after the other, but several weeks apart. May want to give yourself 10 days in between trying different products. You can add in some probiotics afterwards.
