Delfina,

My husband used to get leg pains and foot/ankle pain as a child. He was told it was "growing pains."

Several of my children have had these pains as well. I usually have them take a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses for the pain, since that has lots of nutrients in it.

Epsom salt baths are another good remedy for leg pains.

Also, in general, children are sitting in basically one position for many hours a day. Muscles are surely tired and need some stretching at the end of the day. Jumping on a mini trampoline or a walk might be helpful.

You might also check and see how her shoes fit. A shoe with good support might be helpful.

It may be that all she needs is some extra fluids, whether that be a cup of tea (chamomile would be my first choice for this! ), glass of water, etc. Children at school often only have one significant drink during the day, at lunch. Dehydration is a common contributing factor to lots of types of pain.

I hope you find something that helps!
