Hi Art,
Does berberine clean out the bowels so food won't be fermented anymore?
In how many days will one be able to digest carbs again after taking berberine?
When can one stop taking berberine, or is this a lifelong thing?
Which brand and how much per day do you recommend?
Thank you

Hi Mark, Berberine will help restore proper carbohydrate and glucose /sugar metabolism. You would need something along the line of a colon cleanse for what you are describing.

Hi again, Mark.I forgot to mention that another important function of berberine is that it can breakdown the biofilms that are protecting the unhealthful bacteria in the gut. So berberine should potentially be started before any potential colon cleanse is initiated to allow the berberine time to breakdown those biofilms.
