Hi Barbara from Tampa, Florida: Please google 'pranic healing'. Once you can learn to shift the energy associated with the cause of the binge you will stop binging. My personal testament to this.
Please add more probiotic foods to your diet. Milk kefir, water kefir, sauerkrauet (un-pasturized) will allow you to stay full and satiated longer.
Incredible resources on this site http://culturedfoodlife.com/how-to-make-kefir/
Also learn to brew your own kombucha and that will keep you satiated as well as heal your liver.
Apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoon warm water raw local honey several times daily will help with binges.
Finally green veggies juice (NO FRUIT) made from cucumbers, celery, parsley, ginger and lemon juice will heal your gut and keep your blood sugar balanced which in turn will help you combat the binge eating.
Good luck!

Cut down on processed foods as these contain MSG and aspartame. MSG and aspartame are addictive themselves so the more you eat foods with these in them the more addicted you will become.
Google "Excitotoxins". Once you read that they kill brain cells among other things you will be motivated to cut them out of your diet.

I was a binge eater when I was in my twenties. I am now 53. Your seratonin level is not as high as it should be, so you don't get the satiated feeling when you should. I was eventually diagnosed with clinical depression. But I did get a handle on this before I was treated for depression, through better nutrition. I can probably guess that you binge on carbs. Start eating more vegetables, I do think this is related to nutritional deficiencies as well. Also protien will help you feel fuller. Just start by making better choices, without trying to fight willpower.
