Cant find help for excessive sweating issues

Posted By Michael (Pattaya, Thailand ) on 03/12/2013

Ted, I have always sweated profusely since childhood and many times seen specialists who were just full of test lab BS to be honest. Now I read your article responses on this site but you just go on and on with totally confusing double talk and simply do what politicians do...talk in lots of detail and say nothing at all that is clear or useful and leave everything open ended. I'm interested in any clarification, also. Even worse, I'm a woman that has had excessive sweating her whole life since age 10. I don't need to be doing any sports, exercise, or anything physically demanding. When the mercury rises above 80, (about 28 degrees C) the faucets come on. Come summer, I soak several napkins in each clean-up session just from my face alone. Any useful homeopathic suggestions welcome. I have no employment or insurance.

Hi Citygirl27... I live in the Philippines and sometimes the temperature in the hot season reaches 35-37 degrees C.

The special formula that I use to "cool off" is 1/4 to 1/2 tspn of Magnesium Chloride (or 10 drops of Mangesium Oil) mixed with 1/2 tspn Vitamin C powder (as ascorbate) in a glass of water. This is one of Ted from Bangkok's remedies that works well to keep you cool.

To make the ascorbate form cheaply -- just buy the ordinary ascorbic acid as powder and add it to water then just carefully add sodium bicarbonate powder (Arm & Hammer is fine) to it until all the fizzing stops -- now you have the ascorbate form. Then just add the magnesium chloride and you're done.

The magnesium chloride dilates or opens out the blood vessels which helps to cool you more efficiently. This mixture is also very good for the heart.

Taking kelp extract (not the tablets) daily will also supply more iodine to your thyroid which then acts to regulate body temperature and sweating more efficiently. Everyone is defficient in iodine, vitamin c and magnesium in their diets these days.

Correct salt intake also helps to properly regulate body sweating -- but don't use refined table salt, use the Sea Salt instead because it contains many other beneficial minerals and is more alkaline as as well.

Do a search for sage + excessive sweating. I used sage tea bags and it helped me. Use sage on your food as well. It's not a cure but it really helps! Good Luck.

Thank you Bill, immensely for the feedback. I'd also like to add that any amount of humidity above about 65 percent adds to the effect 10x. I do use Lugol's iodine, but was not very good about keeping up during the winter. I'm on my 2nd bottle since I began using it last June. Need to be more consistent about it. I also have kelp powder at home. I only have sea salt in my apartment now, after reading here and elsewhere about refined vs sea salt. I have vitamin C crystals and magnesium oil, so will definitely try this out when the mercury starts to rise here in Texas. I grew up in a "cold" climate, but never acclimated to the hot Texas weather even after 10 yrs. This should really help!

Citygirl27: The German Dr. Barbara Handel's homeopathic formula "Excessive Perspiration". I don't know which merchants carry it except Swanson Health Products.

Also, any of the nightshade herbs like Belladonna, Jimson, Henbane, Trumpet Flower, in small dose before retiring will help, as would the pharmaceutical analogue Amitriptyline.

Hi, I originally found this site while freaking out because I had this old milk of magnesia, out of date, and had run out of my epson salts , so decided to put some in my bath water...then being prone to panics, had to shower off and run for the internet for H E L P...... whaaaa! Yes I am sooo human.

Anyway, one site uses milk of magnesia to control sweat disorders and some people who use it as a deordorant develop a rash with bumps and others don't and then this site talked about using it to help treat MRSA .... well anyways....

I finally used up that old bottle of mom and I really like it in my bath water.... I have another old bottle to use up. You put a half cup in a hot bath and soak while you drink a quart of water , baths dehydrate people. Eat an apple sliced with some sea salt on it. Wow... magnesium is so nice .

Most of my life, I couldn't sweat and would get overheated, menopause changed that.....

Your intestines might unload the next day from the magnesium soak but no diarrhea - also if you aren't a water drinker, take it easy or your body will react badly
