Can Sunshine Heal Cellulitis?

Is sunshine good for cellulitis? My logic is that bacteria does not like UV radiation.

Dear Alan,

I would be shocked if sunshine were not good for cellulitis. Thought it is probably only a part of a treatment plan. When my children had chicken pox, they felt better after a stroller ride in the sunshine. I think the benefit is more an overall boost to the immune system than because of the rays hitting the actual site of infection or trauma or sickness.

I would be afraid that too much sun though would be a stress to the skin.

Just my 2 cents on your good idea!
