Posted By Sierraafric (Sierra Leone) on 05/14/2015

Hello TED. thank you very much for given hope to people infected with hbv and hcv. I was diagnose positive of this hbv since 2012. I have not been eating meat and anything so far that so related with fat, then my doctor also advice me not to eat food that is spicy. I have recently try to order BHT and changa piedra from the USA which I'm waiting currently to come. All this while I have been taking liverill tablets which is one of the cure we have in our country. One of my colleague who is also infected of the virus also on treatment he has been taking lamuvidine for more than two years now for me when I ask my doctor why I am on lamuvidine, he said my viral load is not yet high so I should continue with the current prescription. My question is can I combine changa piedra and BHT treatment together.

Hello Sieraafric [ Sierra Leone ]. Unless and until you start the BHT treatment continue with whatever treatments you are now using that seem to be working or at least helpful. As far as I know " chanca piedra " is the correct spelling. The spelling may vary from one country or another.

Anyway: The herb chanca piedra has been shown to have a POSITIVE effect for people infected with hepatitis B.

I ran this BHT cures group for about 2 years. That group no longer exists. I do recall one member who took both BHT and chanca piedra separately with good results. I also recall at least one member of that group who had even better results with the BHT treatment by itself. This is all I have to work with. That group`s main focus was hepatitis C. Now some new drugs have very recently become available for treating hepatitis C specifically and the reports I have read state these new drugs do work VERY well for hepatitis C but are very expensive.

But you are concerned about hepatitis B. As far as I know: these new drugs do NOT work for hepatitis B. If I am wrong about that someone please correct me about that issue.

Assuming I am right about that [ I really do NOT know ] continue with whatever treatment you are now on until and unless you start the BHT treatment. Your doctor has very good reasons for having you avoid spicy foods. The many different spices ARE reactive compounds and can and often will have an effect on any given treatment including the BHT treatment.

The one example that comes to my mind is: One of the members of the now discontinued BHT CURES GROUP, was imbibing large amounts of the spice " turmeric " had a very low blood platelette count. Whatever that is. And once he stopped taking huge amounts of turmeric his blood platelettes returned to normal. The guy was taking one teaspoon at a time of turmeric twice a day. He did make a successful recovery as far as I know or as last reported by him with the BHT treatment for one of the forms of viral hepatitis. I can no longer remember what type that was....Oscar
