Calcium and Magnesium Dosages Needed for Heel Spurs

Posted By Donna (Boston, Ma) on 10/27/2015

I've been suffering with plantar fasciitis and heel spurs in both feet since Labor Day weekend. Have had it before but never like this nor ever in both feet simultaneously. Trying different remedies suggested here and wondered, for those of you recommending calcium/mag, at what dosages do you recommend daily to help heel or relieve pain?

Donna, go to the "Vitamin Shoppe" in Boston, get a bottle of magnesium oil spray ($9) and a bottle of hexane free castor oil ($8). Spray each foot 3 times with the oil, rub in, then rub in small amount of castor oil. Put on some fuzzy socks (Castor oil stains). Prepare to sleep well. In a day or two, the pain should be easing up. Also, wear different shoes daily. I'm on my feet 8 hour shifts - my plantar fasciitis is a thing of the past.

Good Luck!
