My name is Rachel and I have been breastfeeding my daughter for over 2 months now. I know that if you don't provide enough calcium from your diet for your baby she will start taking your stores of calcium. I have a few teeth that are starting to change from white to grey.. I am wondering if there is anything I can do now to prevent my teeth from falling out at this point.. Is there any way of healing my teeth that are now grey?? I am just wondering what my options are??? I would love to continue breastfeeding my daughter but I don't want all my teeth to fall out as well...

A great way to get minerals absorbed quickly for you and your babe, is to take Schussler's Tissue Salts, often found in Canada as Hyland's brand.
Get #1 Calc. Flouride This will re-enamel your teeth and
#2 Calc. Phos. This will help with your uptake of calcium.
Take 1 tab. 4x a day. I found that I had whiter teeth in a short time. These salts will also ensure your baby has strong teeth.

HOW THE TEETH HEAL, XYLITOL, WHY BLACK WALNUT WORKS
A) Enamel does not re-grow in the way most things in the body re-grow. Enamel regrows by mineralization; the rest of the body re-grows by cellular reproduction. Thus the debate online betwen the medical community and the holistic community is really just misunderstanding. Yes enamel does not regrow, in the strict bodily term 'grow'; yes enamel regrows in the sense that a crystal grows.
Thus it is important to maintian an environment in the mouth which will promote enamel "growth."
B) XYLITOL- To avoid destructive problems with this product: 1) only use a tiny pinch at a time 2) Use with tooth powder or something to keep the solution in the mouth non-acidic 3) Avoid artificial xylitol.
C) WHY BLACK WALNUT WORKS- Follow the eastern idea that the character of foods reflects the character of their healing quality. The black walnut is tooth like (fruit like tooth dentin, shell like enamel), and it somehow grows an extremely hard and solid shell in a very short time. Therefore, when wanting the hard shell of the tooth (enamel) to grow quickly) use a tincture of the green husks of the black walnut; as it is this outer husk that promotes the walnut shell growth. Perhaps tea would work as well as tincture if a person had access to fresh husks--or perhaps it would be poisonious and almost for sure horrible tasting.

Hi, I use magesium phosporus D6 Schussler, it works even better. Usually calcium intake is fine in the west, but the biological application of it is problematic, we need magnesium! Everyone in the west is short on magnesium. Also use horsetail, it has silicon biologically active, and builds calcium matrix in teeth, enamel and bones. Thanks
