Branch retinal vein occlusion macular degeneration

Posted By Tinks (New Zealand) on 02/05/2015

Am looking for help with branch retinal vein occlusion and macular degeneration. I also have rheumatoid arthritis and from what I have read on here I need to avoid Nsaids and turmeric.

I have had Avastin injection in my eye but my vision seems to be getting worse. Help please.

T: I use Magnet Therapy on my eyes a few minutes each once or twice weekly w/ good results and zero bad effects, as a preventive. I also take Lutein and Zeaxanthin daily.

Start w/ weak magnets like those thin refrigerator advertisement types and work your way up to stronger. This will remove swelling or inflammation and promote healing of any wounds on the body.

I also have macular degeneration in both eyes. Believe it or not, I just did a web search for natural remedies and there are quite a few. However, I have been using Lutein and/or black cohosh .The lutein is to strengthen the muscle in back of the eyes and black cohosh is the utmost best back up ever; it puts natural fluid in your eyes because you will tend to have itchy eyes and a sandy or gritty feeling in both eyes. Black cohosh is also great for whole body remedies, you can use both or one at a time (I use both). You can find these in either Walmart or herbal store. Good Luck...

Here is some info on Saffron stigma powder: http://www.saffron2020.ca/cataract/

"Visual improvement began after only two weeks on saffron. Professor Stone projects that after a year or more ingesting only 20 mg (milligrams) of saffron daily, vision improvements should stabilize without requiring more saffron dosing. Lutein and zeaxanthin are macular pigments, naturally concentrated in macula of the eye"
