Birthmark on Face

Posted By Mimka (New York, NY, USA) on 11/09/2008

Hello Ted, I have a birthmark running from the corner of my mouth down ward on both sides. Its darker and larger on one side and make me look very old. I have tried lightening creams but none worked. Do you have a remedy for this..Thank you. (I really enjoy reading all the remedies on Earth Clinic)

Please don't feel bad. I have been using hydroquinone for several years like you now, and am snow suffering from melasma. You should see a dermatologist. My dermatologist is having me use azelex and differin. Don't use any skin lightening creams anymore, since any of them can darken your skin. Also, pray to God. I will also pray for you, please pray for my skin problem to go away too. Take care, bye.

Amethyst products have been known to regenerate cells and aid in detoxification. Applying skin products with amethyst powder should definitely repair your skin, I would think, since your melasma is a result of chemical bleaching. Foot patches containing wood vinegar and tourmaline or amethyst should also help. I am currently on an amethyst skin regimen. My father has seen great improvement with his crow's feet and other wrinkles. I am hoping to see improvement in the skin tone after developing some minor skin discoloration and redness from a chemical peel procedure two years ago.
