Regarding autoimmune issues

I have been in and out of hospital have seen every specialist possible and no one can give me answers so its watch and wait. I test positive for dsdna antibodies, high arsenic level, hexavalent chromium presence, and I have these "attacks" that start with double vision, weakness to extent I can't move and then extreme spasticity too severe, my
legs and arms are literally jumpy. My right eyelid is droopy and gets worse when I overdue it.

Drs are saying I have myasthenia gravis due to my eye. I only test positive for vccfa. my spleen and thymus are enlarged. I am 31 years old and my health started going downhill 3 years ago. I'm sick of not being helped. Any suggestions I am beyone frustrated. on and pos for MS of CSF oligoclonal bodied.

I am almost ready to look into going to another country snd paying cash to get fixed. waiting month to month for referrals is not working out.

Thank tou

Hi Jayleen,

I am not a doctor, I am a patient like you. I've been thru the same thing like you did and have the same frustrations like you have! My gut feeling is, the American medical system sucks! Referral is simply a "pass the buck" way to kick the patient out of the door! Most of the PCP's don't want to get involved once you are in the hands of those 'specialists'. and a '..logist' will send you away if you are not in their line of specialty! Then the patient rides the Mary-go-around. Not to mention the long wait in between, in malaise!

Making story short, I would suggest you not to use your tap water for your cooking and drinking anymore since your arsenic and chromium levels are noticeably high. Those toxic substances are usually from ground water, unless if you work for an industry that uses chemicals on location.

You have the myasthenia gravis symptoms but I don't think you really have this disease. Your thymus and spleen are related to your autoimmune system. I believe you have something between Lupus (SLE) and Multiple Sclerosis (MS). There are over 80 types of Autoimmune Diseases. AD is the third cause of deaths in America. But don't worry, what you have would not kill you.

You didn't mention if you are prescribed any drugs like autoimmune suppressant. Or you have any kind of chronic inflammation. Pay attention to your blood tests results if your IgG antibody and white blood cells show any abnormality. Your Rheumatologist should have done that.

My suggestions :

1. Take a higher dosage of Alpha Lipoic Acid.

2. Take Red Reishi extract capsules, increase the dosage gradually to doubling the bottle recommended dosage. There are hundreds of choices on the market, I suggest either the Japanese or the American products. They are very expensive but try to avoid cheap ones. The higher the Polysaccaride it contains, the better. Plant polysaccarides moderate the autoimmune effectively. It will shrink your spleen over time.

3. Exercise including stretching, like in yoga or Pilates. Shaking vigorously your arms and legs could help loosening stiffened muscles.

Search the web if you are Th1 or Th2 Dominance. It might help you to avoid certain foods/supps to keep your autoimmune system more balanced and to reduce the trigger that brings on the attack. I am Th2 dominant (most of the people are), I stay away from green tea and curcumin.

Hope it will help you. And best of luck!

Good Time Charlie
