Have you tried the Dr. Scholl's shoe inserts for heel pain? If not, I would give it a try. They work well.
P.S. Also, before bed, a nice warm foot bath with epsom salt works wonders for any kind of foot pain.

HTP heel seats worked for me, and I had heel spurs in both heels. Icing, shots, stretching, various inserts didn't give me any relief at all. The heel seats actually healed my feet, and I no longer have any pain, and no longer need the HTP heel seats.
