Any Explanation As to Why I Have Such Extreme Motion Sickness After a Cruis

Posted By Addy (Flowery Branch, Ga) on 02/08/2012

Hello, I went on a cruise and wore sea bands for motion sickness and they worked pretty good during the trip. I removed them when we came off the boat and that's where it all started. We have been back for 2 weeks as of this past Monday and I'm still having motion sickness. Specifically, small rooms bother me or any type of fast movement sends my brain swimming around. Has anyone experienced long term symptoms like this and what are some things I can try to get past this?

I spoke to a local pharmacy and he said this definitely isn't normal.

I get motion sickness even in a car (unless I am sitting in the front and watching the road the whole time ).

After a one day ferry ride (on which I didnt feel motionsickness) after getting off the boat the ground was slightly moving for the next day (24 hours). I am female and was 25 at the time. So I am saying it happens to me too.
