Antibiotics did not help bronchitis help requested

Posted By John (Cape Town South Africa) on 03/06/2014

Hi, in December 2013, I had a sore throat, pain in left eye which went away later, and a 'chest cold.' I was diagnosed with Bronchitis and was given antibiotics, which did not help. Later blood started to form in my throat. Chest xray was negative, as well as blood tests. No glands in and around neck. Have not seen ENT Dr. What could this be and what can I use?

I am wondering whether your bleeding in the throat could have same cause as nose bleeds. You may be deficient in vitamin K2. I would consider vitamin K2 to address it. I'd experiment with both forms of K2 separately. The two forms are ML4 and ML7. ML7 is the preferred form for overall health.

To John from Cape Town,

Well, you were diagnosed with Bronchitis and if you are coughing up phlegm and you know from experience that you are experiencing what you had in the past, then obviously the diagnoses was correct. Likely a virally caused infection.

I use a "nebulizer" and breathe in deeply colloidal silver. I make my own CS so I know it is strong enough. Since I learned to do this eight years ago or so I've stopped a bronchial infection from fully developing, at least six or seven times, I'd guess. I use the nebulizer three daily over about three days. My problem is that with a bronchial infection, inevitably for me, is that the infection gets into my sinuses. So I can easily kill the infection in lungs/ bronchial passages, but it takes me longer to completely kill a "mean" infection (lipid coated?) in the sinus cavity.

Bill, you should try using the baby shampoo nasal spray to get rid of biofilm and then try the colloidal silver. Experiment to see if it removes infection quicker. Chronic sinus infection can be a sign of fungus. The colloidal silver may be getting rid of the bad bacteria thereby helping the flora in your sinus get rid of the fungus. Just an idea to explore if you haven't already.

I suffered from chronic bronchitis every winter, sometimes the coughing lasted months. The drs told me I was a candidate for COPD, prescribed antibiotics, prednisone and cough suppresant. Nothing helped. The coughing was croupy but drs said that adults don't get croup. They said I had asthma and prescribed inhalers. They didn't help. I was scared, having a hard time breathing. Little by little I learned what my body needed to heal, mostly it was vitamin D3 & magnesium. I have not had bronchitis nor a cold since 2009. I take 5,000 IU of vit D3 and 500 mg of chelated magnesium per day, year around. I get my D3 levels checked regularly & is usually in the low 60's. Vit D3 is my miracle supplement.
