Answer for seeking help for itchy friend

Itchy, itchy, itchy!!!

I'm writing this for my friend in hopes that someone can help. He returned from China about 2 summers ago and he's been itching ever since. It first started when he got into the shower. The water sprayed on him and it felt like a 1000 hot needles were poking him. After that the itching started, he itches in different places, there is no consistent pattern or area other than his groin area at night. That's when he notices it. Tonight I told him about saliva, he tried it and it helped. He said he does not feel any movement under his skin. He went to the Dr once for it and the Dr said it may be his liver, he's been a drinker for many years. But he had no other symptoms of liver disease so he doesn't think that's the issue. I gave him coconut oil and when he puts that on or any other lotion the stinging comes back. Everynight he had to take Benedryl for the itch and to sleep. Any suggestions??? He is desperate!

Sometimes a cup or so of baking soda in the bath will stop itching. Or try rubbing the skin with ACV on a washcloth to stop it. It might just work. Look up detoxifying baths.

Kathy,

Re; friend with itching issues...

More clues to figure this out...see if anything rings a bell if you google "causes of itching 70 causes" ... a "Healthline" site with pictures and explanations of seventy different causes of itching problems. See if your friend can relate to any of those.

I have used oil of clove to cure itchy shins! Your friend should cut his hair Very short and make sure his scalp is completely covered in oil! I had to apply oil of clove to my shins twice about 3 months apart, itching has been gone 15 years now!
