Ankle injury and 4 years with deep vein thrombosis

Posted By Sakthi (India) on 07/30/2014

Hello EarthClinic, Please help me with my problem.

I have got ankle injury 4 years back and just after 3 months, I have been diagnosed with DVT (full left leg from ankle to IVC vein in stomach). I have taken heparin for first 2-3 weeks and then switched to warfarin tablets. I have taken warfarin tablets for past 3 years and now on aspirin. every six months once, I have taken doppler ultrasound scan to see the clot level. It was not dissolved. last week I took a new scan and the result showed (partial recanalization and some veins full recanalization - I asked doctor what it means and they said 'blood found a way between the clots and now flowing) veins with minimal blood flow. Now I am taking aspirin tablets (LOPRIN 75mg) daily.

I have also taken Thrombophilia test to ascertain there are no blood disorders. It is confirmed it is provoked DVT due to ankle injury.

Could you please tell me how to dissolve the stubborn clots in my veins naturally?

I am exercising regularly but could not run for more than 2 mins as my leg gets swollen and painful. I feel like I drag 50kg bag while running. At the time of writing this email, my leg is swollen.

Expecting an remedy to change my life.

With high hopes, Sakthi

Dear Sakthi,

There are some stories on this page:

of people who have used cayenne pepper, blackstrap molasses and other things to dissolve blood clots. I think you will find it encouraging.

DMSO is a natural blood thinner. In fact, if you are using DMSO while on a blood thinner, ya better tell your Dr and be monitored because you would need WAY less of it. I used it to treat my own Deep Vein Thrombosis too.
