Advice really needed regarding urine retention

Posted By Dad's Daughter (Chicago, Usa) on 02/03/2011

My dad is 83. It has been three months now that he cannot urinate. His prostate is normal and is not a problem. Can anybody, please, help with any ideas/advice/remedies?

I'm 58 years old and I have had that problem from about that age.

I have been taking a little Cayenne Pepper in the morning. The urge is gone after all these years.

Good Luck.
