Abscessed Tooth and Dangers of a Root Canal

Posted By Orh (Ten Mile, Tn) on 07/21/2018

HI U GOOD FOLKS DOIN,,,,,,,,,,, me, I'm still perkin. Thought I was in high cotton until the hygienist saw pus coming from the gum of a molar. X rays revealed an infection. My high dollar dentist gave me two options. I came back two days later and he was to do a root canal and kill the bacteria with his laser. My research revealed that there is nothing good about a root canal that leaves a cavity in your head forever.

About half way through the process, he shut down because he found a crack in my enamel that caused the problem in the first place. Now he says the tooth must be extracted. The total cost is just shy of a new Honda CRV. I reviewed all the stuff on EC and don't think any of it applies to my situation. This will be a continuous thing. I think Ozone is the solution but there is only one one dentist that does this in Tn. He is booked up until October and then I have to get in line. Are you SM?

If you have a clue then pass it on.

ORH,

I appreciate what your beautiful wife is going through.

A few things that are worth a look. Her teeth, metals or posts. For some reason, it does bear on healing the bladder/kidney. I do not understand why. So in the atmosphere around her stubborn infection, may need to be addressed. I realize you are doing everything. Just some thoughts.

Iodine mouth rinses. To offset any chance the mouth is interfering with your protocols.

Ted's lecithin and cilantro. 2x a week. Metals can come from a meal out, all kinds of weird sources.

Beta Sisterol, 1x a day. It seems to move any blockage or stuff in a bladder regime. I happened across this little gem by accident. First, it just relieved symptoms! Then with baking soda and Apple Cider Vinegar or lemon, whoosh, success.

The reason I am writing back, the mold. I am on the other side of the story, with this menace, from your story. I know all of the steps you have taken. In my case, mold was the hidden issue. You can try my experiment. Or not. It helped. In an 8 oz glass of water, 3 or 4 drops of white ammonia. It cleared the path. At the very least it will not harm anything. May answer the question of the reason she is not healing. You cannot taste it really. If you want, use ted's ammonia powder to mix. It was the final solution of a mold exposure, that resulted in a long term problem. An exposure that I was not even aware of.

Anyway, just some thoughts on solving my own mystery.

Allow me to mention my new favorite book. You might find it as amazing as I did. The simple way to get a taste of the book is Google, Dr Derrick Lonsdale. Thiamine B1. Thiamine Deficiency Disease.

You will get several 1 page articles he has written over the years. He was at Cleveland Clinic, became world renowned re this one critical nutrient. The broken pathway to absorbency. You will get a kick out of his articles alone. He provided the missing information, for my mold recovery. Ted's encouragement to use thiamine seemed, innocuous, or I was too dense to get it. I will not expound, I sure could though.

Janet

EC: Thanks, Janet!

Hi Orh...About four or five years ago I had a tooth capped at the dentist. The tooth was just behind my right incisor -- a big tooth. About two weeks after the capping I had some major pain below the tooth in the roots. When I looked at the tooth with a mirror, I saw that the outside gum round the tooth had a gap and I could actually see the roots. That's how I knew that that roots were infected and it was serious. Thought I would lose that tooth for sure.

I had recently read that gum turpentine was easily absorbed through the skin. So, more out of desperation and not wanting to lose that precious tooth, I used the turpentine. So every day, once a day, I would take half a teaspoon of turps in my mouth, mix it with my spit, and keep it over the bad tooth for at least 2 minutes (or as long as you can stand it). Then I would spit out the turpentine. I did not rinse my mouth out afterwards -- I wanted that turps to keep acting for as long as possible.

After using this simple turps protocol for about 4 or 5 days, all the pain (which was considerable) suddenly went away. I continued the turps protocol for a month to be absolutely sure. That was four years ago and I still have that tooth now and no more pain since.

Hi ORH,

I imagine you have already seen this, but it gives doctors and dentists who practice with ozone therapy. You might be able to get in somewhere in a nearby state. I would also ask to be called at the one in TN if they have a cancellation. Welcome back!

Hello there, ORH,

I would try swishing with a cap full of peroxide to 1/2 cap full of water every few hours and especially after you eat. Bite on a garlic clove and alternate using a black tea bag draped over the tooth to draw out infection. I change the tea bag about every half hour when I have a flare-up that is on a lower bicuspid where a crown had been removed after a root canal. My bite had shifted before I had the work done and I could not tolerate two different crowns on that tooth.

I found swishing with CS then using a charcoal poultice in a coffee filter overnight very helpful when it flares up if I have neglected the systematic peroxide swishing.

I had an infection and an abscess that came through the gum on an upper molar. I bit on several garlic cloves for three days, back to back until burning stopped. I was concerned about the infection going to the brain. When I went to the oral surgeon the abscess no longer showed up on the x-ray so my extraction was avoided. That was my first "healing" from EC several years ago, being so thankful for the Happynurse66 post.

I would also suggest taking some black walnut tincture every night to remove any decay that might be under the gum. MtM reported the tincture as healing cavities and I have witnessed that it works. Black walnut tincture is reported to re-mineralize teeth.

Finally, I found that OP with Coconut Oil was beneficial.

Love,

KT

ORH:

Our specialist made a huge slip in my mouth during a root canal. After the regular dentist could not manage it.

The needle went in wrong. It numbed my left side tongue, face, eye socket. What a mess. I had no awareness my upper jaw was falling apart. No pain. Just numbness. The eventuality was I had all kinds of terrible up there. Just cooking away.

Anyway, in that time began my recovery from all of my gut issues as I moved from allopathic treatment and doctors to real healing. I tried to make that dentist appointment, but could not make myself. It seemed to me that, just like Drs, they expect you to be a simple fix. Having previous injury from another dentist would not make me an ideal patient.

Ted had said that dental treatment cannot be ignored. Because I cannot feel anything, I decided to try some things mentioned on E.C.

The most infection killing thing by far, a drop of 5% lugols iodine. It does so much for infection. Even if I went to get a procedure, I would continue using this.

My mouthwash, Milk of Magnesia, ingredients, mag and purified water only, 1 bottle added to a liter jar, fill that with spring water, pour into jar. Add 1/2 tsp sea salt, for minerals, 1 tsp xylitol, 2 drops of peppermint essential oil, both are anti infective. 2 aspirin, antibacterial. 2 tsp of baking soda to raise alkalinity.

I shake it pour the little cup from M.O.M. full. Brush with Kiss my Face whitening toothpaste. Rinse with solution. Brush with baking soda, rinse with solution, brush with coconut oil, this helps all the debris trapped in gums and teeth migrate themselves out, rinse with solution. Finish the cup rinsing, do not rinse the remains from final rinse away.

I use mag oil in there too, it is the most depleted mouth mineral. Second is phosphorous. This recipe is cobbled together from Tony Pantellarescos mouth rinse, Ted's info, etc. Tony uses TSP. Trisodium phosphate The real thing, not the substitute. 1/4 tsp in the rinse bottle. You can also use liquid phosphorous mineral instead. I found it less than ideal. So I use Tony's suggestion.

My mouth health has had dramatic improvement.

If you Google a mouth to organ chart you will see an organ affiliated with the tooth that bothers you. I wish I took this more seriously, I may have saved myself an intestine and appendix. Something to consider.

HI U JANET, KT, Raw, Bill, Mmsg and others...........wow, and all you birds thought I was dead. I will take your counsel. What is spooking me is that according to my dentist, I have a crack in my tooth which caused the problem in the first place. That ain't going away, so I must treat this problem from now on. That is going to be interesting, but I will try.

Still doing my gardening thing but my photo of this year's garden was never published. Am back to my 100 X100 because life is getting interesting. I put worm castings into the bottom of my melon transplant holes and we have the sweetest watermelons and cantaloupes ever. They are wall to wall.

When I was a kid in the '40s and visited my Paw Paw in Mississippi his peas and beans were completely filled out. Now mine are not. I think it is because there were more bees and things back then to totally pollenate stuff. The insecticides and such have wiped them out and so my plants are just half assed. Few are totally filled out. As Pogo said, "we have seen the enemy and he is us".

The Lord said that he has provided. If we would just stop trying to help him...... things would work out.

Hi again, ORH,

I read other responses to your post, then your reply and felt I needed to mention again that black walnut tincture may help re-mineralize that tooth and close the crack if you don't chew on that side but it would be important to make sure the infection is gone first.

If I recall, MtM reported that the BW helped heal one of her children's cavity. Youngsters would heal faster than us old folk but it may be worth a shot to teach the dentist there are less expensive alternatives if it works for you!

Love,

KT

ORH,

Weston Price, came up today. It occurred to me this would be an excellent resource of information.

I am not a follower of his, yet many of the articles are highly informative, having a larger view on the mouth.

Here is an excellent example. https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/dentistry/dental-cavitation-surgery/

HI U KT,,,,,,,,,,, several years ago our good buddy Timh related using Azomite to remineralize his teeth. I use that volcanic ash for trace minerals in my garden. Timh loves me, but I pissed him off with my skepticism. Thus you may be right about fixing my enamel.

My dentist teaches across the world, but he does not like my challenging his druthers. As most know I's 'bout half smart, but lack in discipline. What all you good folks have laid out is a humongous challenge for me. One thing about telling stories is that you must remember them.

His wife was a Hollywood model and a beautiful woman. She got an abscess and he told her not to do a root canal, but an extraction. She prevailed and died of breast cancer. The tooth meridian lined up with her breast cancer. He never forgave himself and choked up telling the story. So years later, he recommended a root canal for me. I ain't in dementia yet and recalled his story. When he found the fracture he then said extraction was the only option. Naw, healing the abscess is the best option.

We do have several Black Walnut trees at our farm, and the green ones will be falling soon.

MtM makes her own Black Walnut tincture so maybe she could advise. I think it would be good to order a bottle now to get the healing started while you make your own. Amazon carries Herb Pharm products and that's what I use. I am pleased with the results.

HI U JANET,,,,,,,,, boy, you gave me a chore to digest your referenced site. Thanks. Right now most of my time has been used to help my tractor driver address her bladder infection. She is now running a low grade fever and today she had a Vit C IV with Vit B 12. She has been on Cranberry Juice, with Ozonated Water 3 or 4 times a day along with using our PEMF device. Our Natural Doctor also has her on Silver Nitrate and Diatomaceous Earth. None of this is helping, so today she went on an anti-biotic and a pain pill. Big Pharma has it's place.

I stopped in and bought a batch of fresh Cilantro and will make her tea from that. As usual, I throw the kitchen sink at a problem and never know what solved the issue.

If you have followed my ATS' over the years, you know that Ms Conn has spoiled this Arkansas REDNECK. One of the guys today, when we got our IV's, told me that he had not seen her in years but she is still a very beautiful woman. At 77, I think you call a woman handsome. We have been married 58 years and I think the glue is that we like one another. Everyone loves their mate, they just don't like them.

She has heard all my tales, but still laughs when others laugh. She tolerates my crap. We know that her gut flora will be wiped out with the anti-biotic and will have to be replaced when the infection is healed.

As usual, I have to turn everything into a yarn. That's just who I am.

Hi ORH...About your good wife's UTI problem. I learned a long time ago that if you want to pep up your immune system(and/or improve your digestion) then you should take some sea salt in water. You can also combine sea salt together with borax which helps to give it a much wider range of pathogen kill. I use sea salt alot for many problems.

Here is Ted from Bangkok's simplest and most effective cure for UTI problems, in his own words:

"Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "The best UTI remedy so far the simplest and is the fastest is the sea salt remedy. The dose is 1 teaspoon of sea salt dissolved in a full glass of water, plus drinking the cranberry juice or mannose powder roughly 2 teaspoons x 5 a day will usually do it. The sea salt remedy is taken only one dose and there's no need to take an additional dose. The bacteria causing the UTI appears to have a weakness to salt. In fact drinking too much water reduces the salinity of the urine which encourages the UTI. Therefore addition of sea salt one dose should see a relief in pain within a matter of minutes. The maintenance dose thereafter is only 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon per ONE LITER of drinking water. This is the most effective remedy I have found so far.

Ted"

Source: https://ted.earthclinic.com/cures/bladder_infection16.html

From the above link, the sea salt quickly reduces the pain of UTI in minutes and should also help to eradicate the infection fairly quickly.

HI U BILL AND JANET,,,,,,,,, thanks Bill for your input. You hung the moon as far as I'm concerned and Janet, you ain't far behind, best I can tell.

We only use quality sea salt for everything, but will add that to her protocol.

What is spooking me is that my research says that anti-biotics don't work any more. We were already doing natural things that have worked in the past. We both on the shady side of the mountain so that complicates things.

We have a Bio-Mat and will start using that. I have helped cure my cancers with Beta 1,3 D Glucan which builds up your immune system and holding that for last. Last night, Ms Conn went through a heavy sweat in her sleep which tells me that her own system his trying to burn out the invaders.

We all miss Ted and I was around when both he and Bill Munro were our heroes. On my first cancer go-round I e- mailed Bill Munro and he called me and talked for 45 minutes. He was a good guy.

I guess I need to chill out, but I've been gone for awhile and full of stories. And I love to tell stories.

Will keep all posted as things progress. Would you believe that our youngest daughter, age 47, just chewed me out for revealing that her mother had a bladder infection. Lordy, we did our best to rear her right. Guess the problem is that we sent her to Auburn to be a nurse.
