To RS from Denver with the friend who has 9 year old who has started her period. MAJOR ALERT: FIRST OFF SOMEONE SHOULD TRY TO ASCERTAIN WHETHER SOMEONE IS MOLESTING THIS CHILD (but without putting words into the childs mouth because this is a serious charge). But being molested can also send a nine year old's nerves through the roof. It is possible that a 9 year old has started her periods, but she should also be showing some breast development beyond the budding stage if that is truly early development. If you are sure that it is just early development & starting of the menses, then consider that magnesium goes along way in helping in PMS and the cramping. One article available on line states that it is difficult to take enough magnesium orally without developing diarrhea which defeats the purpose, since it leaves the body instead of being retained and used for normal functioning. The author suggests transdermal magnesium instead of oral. For all who are not familiar with medical lingo, transdermal just means it can be absorbed through the skin. Also to those who are not familiar with chemical formulae, MgSO4 is just good old epsom salts which can be found at stores like the Dollar Tree in 2 lb. cartons for $l.00. Just pick up a carton or two, and put a cupful of epsom salts in your warm bath water & just lay back and enjoy while your skin does all the work, and keeps you from having to taste it. For those of you who aren't aware of how vital magnesium is to the body, it is also known to help regulate the heart rhythm, normalize blood pressure, decrease the incidence of migraine headaches, and decrease cramping. IV epsom salts is administered to eclamptic mothers to keep them from stroking out with their high blood pressure.

Well you can't say that she was molested I was 9 when I got my period and bad cramps my bleeding wasn't heavy. For my cramps nothing worked for my pills in tha morning with hot tea didn't work I even use to vomit I had it bad. The only thing that worked for me back then was sleep, but now I just have to take 800 mg for it to stop.

I got my period when I was 8 years old and I was never sexually molested. I was a poor eater and back then there was no such things as organic foods. I think the hormones in chickens and other food items attributed to my early period. I too was moody and continue to have very heavy periods, I'm now 33. I take two aleve daily and that has help me.. Today I decided to try the apple cider vingar diluted in water and I'm already feeling better. My abdominal area is less swollen and not tender to the touch. It's amazing. Hopefully is decreases my heavy flow and length of my period. Will keep you posted.

Yes food with lots of freaking hormones!!! Meats, chicken, milk, eggs!! Its horrible what they do to our food. and chemicals in processed food! And fat too, fat is making puberty earlier!!!!!!!!! This girl need a very special healthy diet, you know veggies, beans, nuts, fruit, no junk food or sugar! green drinks, light on the hormone food mentioned above. Oh man I feel sorry for her, I got mine at 13 wish I would have tooken longer lol.

Anyways this for sure will help her. Evening primrose oil softgels. 1000 mgs. for pain also for mood, flaxseed oil softgels I think also 1000mgs, check labels for dosage, but I think 2 of these per day, or very close to starting period, like 2 weeks. Check with mom/ Dr.althought psss they will prescibe the girl pain killers, like Tylenol , advil ect , or stronger stuff. or maybe even birth control!! >:/ I much rather risk my oils made of food n plants!!!

Other stuff tha can be used together. Hot stuff!! Chamomile tea, oregano tea, a mix, no caffeine!! No cold stuff. Heat pad is a life saver!!! Black strap molasses, it has many nutrients.

9 wow, what was I doing, jumping around, I was a tomboy lol!!

Blessings for this child, you are a good friend!! :)
