8 year old with flu fever and chills

Posted By Djones (Phx, Az) on 11/06/2012

My 8 yr old daughter has had fever, chills, cough and vomiting for about a week and a half. I am suspicious that it is the flu and need some advice. She doesn't have a high fever and some days seems to be stronger than others, so I've been reluctant to take her to the doctor. Does anyone have advice for me? I'm pretty desperate :)

My suggestion is buy some therapeutic grade Thieves Essential Oil (Young Living is an amazing brand). Apply few drops on her feet (bottom of the feet) 2-3 times daily, and diffuse some in a burner for couple of hours on and off through the day. Thieves Essential Oil is so potent, it is capable of killing any unwanted germs, bacteria and the like, and she will be good in no time.

If she can consume some good quality probiotic rich foods like kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut BUBBIES brand is loaded with good probiotics which will flush the gunk out of her body faster. Good luck!

A week and a half is WAY too long. I had the same symptoms when I was 19, and it was a ruptured appendix. I almost died. Not to frighten you, but after that long, she needs to be seen by medical professionals and have a blood draw to see what her white blood cell count is to see if there is an infection, etc.

Pease go to the nearest ER if you don't have insurance. Don't let money stand in the way of your daughters health. God Bless.
