5 year old childs teeth without enough enamel

Posted By Karen (Rochester, Ny) on 05/26/2014

My 5 year old had her 12 year molars come in without enough enamel on them. She has already had a stainless steel crown put on one of them and now the tooth on the opposite side is breaking down just as bad. It is literally just crumbling. It does not hurt her yet, but I know it is just a matter of time before it does. I need to find something to give her to strengthen her teeth. We are already a gluten free family. We do not drink any juice, eat candy other than dark chocolate, or eat anything sticky. Please tell me what some options are for her.

Thank you!

Hi Karen, I haven't seen any answers here for you. I've just been in conversation about using BW (black walnut) re-growing tooth enamel. I started using BW the latter part of May. Try to review those posts as I have seen improvement of my tooth structure (re-growing enamel) where my gums have receded and exposed some root.
