I am a 31 year old male that has had folliculitis for about 4 months now. Not sure how this has happened to me since I have always have had great skin and very little wrong with it; seems that I have it mostly on my back and on my trunk. I don't have the painful boils, but I have a bunch of small dots everywhere I am currently taking doxycycline for this and it keeps it a bay, but its not curing it. Will I have this forever? I am scared and it's ruining my life help. I would like some support from someone, that would be great, thanks.
