Hi Satinder,

I had a 6cm ovarian cyst and it did bleed. My doctor however told me to wait 3 months and that it would likely go away on its own (get flushed out with your cycle). I was told not to run or exercise as it might bleed again.

If it didn't go away, then they would do a biospy or surgically remove it.

It is painful, but if you are in good health otherwise, then you might just want to wait it out before getting it surgically removed right away, it is common for cysts to appear/disappear on their own.

Sorry I don't have any home remedies and best of luck.

Satinda, read the Ovarian Cyst page on Earth Clinic. There are lots of people who have had great success in what they did without resorting to surgery.

I have also read that a glass of lemon juice every day can rid you of ovarian cysts.

For leg pain during painful menstrual periods I try to keep a banana, orange juice or gatorade on hand. I find that if my potassium levels get low during this time of the month, my legs, buttocks and thighs hurt worse than the cramps! I am going to try the ACV for the cysts. Thanks for the great info guys!

My second ovarian cyst the doctor did an ultrasound it was 2. 3 well. The OBGYN nurse called, acted like it was no big deal it will go away in 6 weeks with your cycle or we will check it then to be sure... I read an super old book called Are you Confused? by Paavo Airola .. so I went on the beet, cabbage, parlsey cilantro little yellow potato with just half cayenne pepper broth fast (I slighty changed his version) it is where you cook the vegetable down in boiling water, pour off the broth, throw away the remaining vegetable and just drink the liquid broth. So it is broth fasting. I did this for eight days. You have to do an enema daily as well to clean the system or get a colonic every day. Anyhow, when they did the ultrasound the ovarian cyst was gone.

Hi Satinder, First thing is stop worrying about it, because you are not the first one to get it, lot of women get it, why? No body knows it. As some one has mentioned, some times they go away at their own also, but you have to be lucky for that. You have to be careful as to what you eat, you should try what Dvie has suggested and since you are from India, Swami Ramdev's Pranayam practices do help in this condition. You have to do Kapalbhati and Alom Vilom twice a day morning and evening. I am sure you will get good results, also tell to your self " DAY BY DAY IN EVERY WAY I AM GETTING BETTER AND BETTER" and see what happens.

Good Luck. Baldev
