Dear Tammy,
That is an awful lot of blood. Please try cayenne pepper. 3/4 tsp. in juice. Repeat in a hour if needed. If the bleeding is no slowing down after the first dose I would get immediate medical attention. (Second dose if it seems to be helping and you want more help.)
i would give her a tablespoon of blackstrap daily. Indefinitely. It will help restore her iron levels and may help monthly bleeding to be less.
You may also want to get some shepherds purse tincture to keep on hand. It is good for heavy bleeding and us mor palatable than cayenne.

Tammy, you could give her ACV, and you can also try Blackstrap Molasses and also Sage tea (just make a small tsp. of the spice into a tea).Replied by Mama To Many (Tennessee) on 12/02/2014
I meant to say "is more palatable."
Please pardon the typos. It is hard to edit when I post from my phone! And please let us know how your daughter is doing.

When I had heavy menstrual bleeding I took 2 Iodine/postassium Iodide tablets. I used the brand Iodoral, but sure you can get these 12.5 mg tablet by other manufacturers.
Ingredients Iodine 5 mg. Iodide 7.5 mg. That is what is in each tablet.
It took about 2 hours and the bleeding slowed down completely.

Use cayenne take 2 pills 40.000 HU, after 2 hours take 2 more, wait and see how you are feeling because if you take it again your period will disappear until next month, anyway you will get a lot of energy from cayenne, I used for many years and always worked for me.
