I am near 70 yr old female, & used distilled water for many years. I wanted flouride-free water, but after a number of years, the distilled just started tasting > wrong. I switched to RO and felt it was alright. Now recently I've been reading *again! * about the importance of electrolytes, trace mins and humic minerals....as well as hydration. I've gotten on to humic minerals and I'm now thinking that was my 'missing link'.

I notice improvements, slow but sure: better sleep, a feeling of being more solid mentally, skin is the softest it's ever been, I'm calmer. I will keep on these humic (using Vitality Boost HA) minerals but am not -yet- doing the amount they recommend. I put around 14 drops of them into 32 oz water, and drink that, about a glass or more a day, as well as my RO water, which has celtic salt and 35% food grade H202 added to it. (a pinch of celtic, and 6 drops H202 p/ gal) Thinking this is a powerful adjunct to my continuous tweaking, to reach optimum health! Cheers~

I read that hard minerals (or rock minerals) are anionic (positively charged) while minerals inside the body are cationic (negatively charged).

Thus, distilled/purified water does not remove minerals from the body but it does remove rock minerals (ones the body cannot assimilate well) along with heavy metals, pathogenic organisms and inorganic compounds.

Can anyone elaborate on this for me? Is there truth to it? I personally DO NOT mineralize my water and I have noticed a marked benefit from drinking it this way. Plus, my blood tests show a healthy concentration of minerals. What's going on here??
