Very effective cure against footcorn

I had a very unpleasant adorn/clavus/corn on my foot, which for a long time did that I almost could not walk. Bought Verrumal from the pharmacist - it did not work. Searched online and found "Banana Peel-cure". Thought at first it was a joke, but after two weeks the clavus disappeared Price: $ 0.00!

My husband had a dark brown wart above his eyebrow and partially in it. It was ugly. He taped the banana peel on it everyday. Finally it crusted up, came off, and did not return. What I like is that is no scar and no loss of hair.

I've had warts in the same location since I was a teenager. They usually go with nitrogen but not this time. I finally underwent laser surgery (it HURTS), but it came back.

I read about using banana peels and how it creates an autoimmune response. I realised that I haven't had a 'fever' for some time which supposedly helps some people (and cancer).

Keeping in mind that I've been battling this for over a year - I started using the banana peel treatment 2 days ago. I took a small piece, stuck it over the wart and covered it with a bandage tape.

It has worked really well - the first morning after, parts of the wart turned black along with tiny bits in the area. after the second day, the small bits have fallen off and there is a 'dent' where the main wart is. Part of it has fallen off and the bit left over is black (which some websites have indicated as the wart dying).

Will be doing it again tonight - but so far am really happy and wish I tried this sooner!

I had a big wart on my hand and I hated it. I didn't like when people saw it. I heard about the banana peel remedy... and it actually worked! What I did Is... get a banana, eat it, then I cut some of the peel. I taped it to my wart overnight. Kept it on all night. I did this for 2 weeks. And I still had it after 14 days, but overtime once I stopped.. It was all gone. I am currently using banana peels for my acne. Idk if it's working Yet. but the wart it'll get rid of it, try it!

I tried the banana peel and it works!! Cover and tape at night. Takes several nights. My plantar warts were so painful I could not bear weight. I prefer using home remedies.

After reading the comments, I can see that for those that had any effect, I think they used a "homegrown" banana. So if you buy an ecological one, then it might help better. I just tried it myself and I could see the effect after just a couple minutes. it turned brighter in color and I felt a tingling sensation in the wart. but I did hold the banana peel on the wart for at least 2 minutes. This is safe to try at home. :)

The banana peel is excellent for wart.. I had 2 plantars wart on my feets and a wart on my finger... After one week I was amazed black dots had been drawn out of the wart. I continued with this method for about a month they seemed better and then finished the treatment off. After 3 months they completely disappeared!

I want to thank God for Helping me to find this site and thanks all of you.

Phlebitis: I tried Ted's lemon baking soda remedy, and it helped, but not a cure. My problem extends to my feet making it difficult walking , a catch 22 situation, exercise being part of the treatment. I have tried losing weight as well , but at( 60 yrs) 140lbs and 5ft4" I am not that over weight.

I have found it does help alot with gout and arthritis, as well as the arthritus diet has.

Interestingly, I was taking guaifenesin for a cough, and my feet felt much better , I wondered if it was a coincidence, but when I stopped taking it it was back within days! I looked guaifenesin up and it has interesting properties including possible , inhibition of platelet aggregation.

I have found it possible to buy as a tablet, and currently I am able to go back to pottering about in the vegatable garden again!

I would be interested in anybody elses experiences , and am just putting it out there in case it would help anybody else.

I think the banana peel is excellent for drawing the black dots out of the plantars wart. It seems to work like a poutice. My 9 year old daughter had the plantars wart frozen at the doctors surgery at least 5 times to no avail. I also spent $30 on the over the counter freezing method and that was a waste of time and money. I decided to do some research of my own and quickly found this website. We diligently applied the small squares of banana peel to the wart at bed time covered with a bandaid and a sock. After the the first night I was amazed the next morning when I saw how much of the black had been drawn out of the wart. I continued with this method for about a month and then finished the treatment off with some compound W. We are very pleased to say the wart has gone. The banana peel was amazing, but I do think the compound W is required at the end.
