Hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

For those of us with hypermobility we often need a chiropractor to put us back in place. I have been a chiropractic patient for 45 years both Palmer (manual) and Atlas Orthogonal method. I highly recommend the AO method as a small tool, a percussion instrument, is used to adjust instead of the twist and shove method. This way there is no pain, it's a light touch because it goes so fast your body has no time to tense up against it like it does a doctor's hands, and it doesn't stretch us any further!

In my experience there are two kinds of AO doctors. One only adjusts the atlas and assumes that everything else will fall in line once he does that. Not so on hypermobile people. We need an AO doctor that will adjust our extremities. I drive an hour to see my chiro because he adjusts my occiput, atlas, neck, entire spine, SI joint, tailbone, wrist, thumb, shoulder, knees, and ankle. And yes most of those need to be adjusted often accept my Atlas is finally holding in place.

You have to look for a doctor that does the whole body which means if you find an atlas doctor online you need to call and ask if this doctor only does the atlas or if he does the rest of the body also. You can begin by looking on this website

Even my 88-year-old mother-in-law has started going to my chiro and found such relief! But she would never have gone to a "twist-shove-craaack" manual doctor and said so.
