A friend of mine got poison ivy last month and it was driving her nuts. She had tried a few things to no avail. As always, I came to Earth Clinic and saw this Fels Naptha cure. I knew she keeps Fels Naptha in the house for laundry stains, so I told her about the remedy. She said it worked. So my 10 year old daughter got poison ivy at an outdoor party last week. I remembered the Fels Naptha remedy so we tried it, and it worked. We wet her arm and rubbed the soap on her arm, and left it to dry for a few hours, then she rinsed it off. She felt total relief within several minutes, but then again felt a bit itchy after she rinsed off the Fels, so we repeated the process and just left the Fels Naptha on her skin until her evening shower, and she's been fine ever since. I recommend this remedy. While I prefer not to use harsh soaps or anything on the skin, it sure beats having poison ivy for days or weeks! 5 stars. Thanks to all who posted this remedy!
