Hi Art - I made the melatonin lotion for my mum's arthritis and she said it helped the pain. But I live in England so I got all the ingredients from USA.

What can I use here in England instead of Cetaphil lotion?

Hi EB,

Thank you very much for the feedback! Do you happen to know the type of arthritis that your mum has?

As far as useable lotion, any water based lotion should work. If you have Jergens Lotion there, it will definitely work.

You can get the melatonin powder in the UK at this website :

https://rawpowders.co.uk/melatonin-powder

The link sometimes loads very slowly, but it does load.

I recommended this website to a person in the UK so they could make melatonin lotion and they told me they would recommend that website. They also told me they used a lotion which I only remember had the number "45" as part of the name of the lotion. Does that make any sense to you? They said it worked fine.

Thanks. I imagine that is E45 cream.

I dont know what type of arthritis, she just says she has pain in the night and her legs are really stiff so I made her the lotion. She really thinks its helping so now my sister asked me for some lotion for her 18 year old grandson who seems to have painful arthritis. I made her some, we will see if it helps. I know that is really young but he is in a lot of pain.

Yes, EB, that is what I seem to remember, but I don't remember if it was the cream or the lotion. I imagine it would be easier to mix the lotion since lotions are usually thinner than creams.

Hi EB, I'm glad to hear that the melatonin lotion has helped her with the pain and stiffness in her legs! I hope it helps her sleep better also as it can have that effect in some people. I hope it also helps your sister's grandson's arthritis. Please let us know if it helps him too! There are at least 4 forms of arthritis that can affect an 18 year old, so could you also let us know which form he has been diagnosed with? Art
