Herbal Tea for Viral Symptoms

We have had a virus circulating the house that includes a cough and sore throat. I have been keeping Traditional Medicine's Throat Coat tea on hand. I find that my kids are willing to drink it and I really like the taste.

It not only soothes a sore throat, it seems to calm a cough. And I have found that if I have digestive distress, it helps that, too, probably because it has slippery elm bark and licorice root in it. Good stuff.

I fixed myself a cup of it this morning even though I am fine just because I love the taste. It is worth keeping a box of this tea in the house!

Happy New Year! May 2026 be your best year yet!

I've just finished with this season's flu and it was mean and nasty. However I used ginger tea with ACV and honey. While it wasn't a miracle drink it did help to tame down the massive system inflammation that causes so much of the pain, esp body aches. We don't even remember Christmas Eve and Day, yet it started about the 20th and it did last the whole 2 weeks. Horrible.
